Jacob D. Sherman wins 2010 Clayford T. Grimm P.E. Student Scholarship

Jacob D. Sherman, studying under the direction of Dr. David I. McLean at Washington State University is the recipient of the 2010 Clayford T. Grimm, PE Student Scholarship. Sherman is investigating the performance of concrete masonry shear walls that undergo in-plane (lateral) cyclic loading. The results from his research are expected to be available during the Spring of 2011. The Masonry Society formally presented the Scholarship to Mr. Sherman at it’s Annual Meeting Awards Luncheon on October 16, 2010 in Bellevue Washington.
